Tricky Jr.

Is hard at work

Searching and digging

Where once, Mr. Stinky did squirt;

His noxious fumes

Drove Ms. Fancy away

And made Sheriff Grumpy

Move up his hibernation day;

But none of that stops Tricky

He’s got plenty to do

There’s mouths to feed

And his Dad, Tricky Sr., to subdue;

His stubborn old man

And his 12 lazy kin

Count on Jr.

To fill their storage bins;

He’s the best in the county

At finding fresh seeds

Hunting and hiding

For his hungry family’s needs;

Just don’t ask him a question

As he suddenly darts by

Tricky Jr.’s got a mouthful

His bulging cheeks he cannot hide
