Breaking through
The heavy curtain of night
Are calls of the wild
That slowly ignite
Out of one howl
Many more are born
Their harmony haunting
Their song forlorn
But to whom do they sing
Their tale of woe?
They answer when again
The full moon glows
Round and bright
Through parted clouds
With heads raised
The wolves howl loud
They sing a love song
To the one they adore
Mistress Moon winks
To encourage them more
