Celebrate the Summer

Today there’ll be no rain

To wash away the fun

It’s time to celebrate

And soak up lots of sun

While eating all the food

They say will make us fat

Today we’ll have no worries

No worries about that

While we’re sailing on the sea

And playing games on land

Don’t forget the ice cream

While lounging on the sand

We’ll wait for the dark

To fall on sun-kissed skin

We’ll gaze into the sky

Until fireworks begin

To transform the night

With booms and pops of color

Young, old, you and me

We’ll celebrate the summer

Thanks for stopping by!
