Deepest of Roots

Sometimes fate

Is hard to bear

When life grows heavy

And seems unfair

But roots run deep

When left to grow

Hidden anchors

Hard at work below

Sending nutrients

From the ground

Up to the branches

Where fruit abounds

The branches bend

Under the weight

Fruit is picked

The tree fulfills its fate

Feeding the hungry

The sweetest of fruit

Grown from the tree

With the deepest of roots

Thanks for stopping by!
