You first appeared
That time of year
When the sun is strong
And the air is clear
You tease and mimic
My every move
Making me ask
What you have to prove
You tag along
Whether I walk or run
Twisting this way or that
We move as one
I turn to confront
You with a smile
Then see you duck
And hide like a child
Playful and shy
You shrink in size
With the transient sky
We say our goodbyes
Under the setting sun
An end has come
To our daily game
Of, you and me, fun.

Reminds me of my little girl so much! Just sweet and innocent!
Thanks – that’s so nice!
