At Christmas time The sweets compete And from their diets Most people cheat; Tempted by confections And fudge filled trays Colorful candies Or rum soaked cakes; Hot cocoa served With candy cane kisses Sugar cookies Decorated for Christmas; And if the gingerbread house Mysteriously disappears Just hide the crumbs And blame Santa’s reindeer
