A Thoughtful Thought

A thought found me

On a November eve

Past the creaking tree

And the rustling leaves

On the creeping fog

It traveled with ease

A thoughtful thought

It said, “Thank you,” and “Please.”

Illuminated directions

From Harvest Moon above

Ensured it found me

Like a peaceful dove

Who after long travels

Had finally come home

To rest, to roost

In the words of this poem

Thanks for stopping by!
