Inevitably, there will be mountains
Majestic, mysterious, immovable things
With so many lessons
With them, they’ll bring
Valleys and peaks
Highs and lows
To a myriad of places
On those mountains, we’ll go
Up to the peak
On top of it all
But the air is thin
And it’s a long way to fall
Down in the valley
Where shadows stalk
Downtrodden souls
Without the strength to walk
Up to the middle
A peaceful mountainside
The atmosphere clear
The meadow green
The sun warm
The stream clean
Where the worry of
Peaks and valleys
Are nothing more than bad dreams
We have long since awakened from
