I wished upon a star

One night

But the star

Was really a satellite

Yet, still, I wished

With all my might

Upon that circling

Satellite

That it would beam

Peace and love

Upon the Earth

From up above

Orbiting, spinning

Lost in space

Dizzy from wishes

We, humans, chase

From Earth to satellite

And back again
