A recipe of thanks

For the perfect pie

Says to roll out the dough

And stuff good things inside

One heaping cup of joy

With two cups of gratitude

When mixed together

Become a cheerful attitude

Then whip up

A whole bunch of hope

With a half a cup of goodwill

And two blessed egg yokes

Add a teaspoon of compassion

For those, you do and do not know

And with a dash of appreciation

Add the batter to the dough

When baking the pie

Be sure to use a gentle glove

And when ready to serve

Top with whipped cream love
