Waves crash
With a frothy kiss
Upon sandy lips
Strewn with rocky regrets;
Of kisses past
That didn’t last
The landscape changed
Never again the same;
Redefined…
Into a shoreline
Affected…
But not broken;
Encouraged by the promise
Of a frothy kiss that’s honest
As it cleanses and washes over
Until all before is forgotten
Hhmmm…a book of your lovely poems?!?! Yup, great idea!
Lovely words and images again,, Jessica. (I guess I’m so lucky, though, in that I DO like to remember ‘all before.’ It just forms another page in my book of life. But I totally get it. You got plans for a book of your poems and pics? Hopefully.) 🙂
Thanks! No plans for a book of poems right now, but you never know…thanks for your encouragement 🙂
