The whole world is broken Let’s give her a hug And send our prayers up to The One Above Who will kiss our foreheads Bandage our hurts While holding our hands For better or worse Until all is not broken
For all of those Who are struggling today We close our eyes And silently pray May peace and light Illuminate the way Along the path To hope and healing
When your head hits the pillow Don’t shed a tear Send up a prayer For only God’s ears Close your tired eyes Clear the worry from your head Let the blanket of peace Tuck you into bed Tonight, and always With thanks Amen
In the company Of angels There’s a peaceful song To hear It’s filled with Heaven’s trumpets And the delicate song Of birds In a symphony of Beating wings That encourages all To hear A song of hope And glory A hymn of peace to bless Our world
