Swaddled, he sleeps

This baby born in a manger

The news of which

Entices strangers;

To this place

Guided by the light

From the brightest star

In the darkest night;

The angels sing

On this first Christmas morn’

Proclaiming a newborn king

Christ the Lord, is born;

On bended knee

With bowed heads

Rejoicing

The glory of heaven spreads;
